Race in the 3rd annual Stoked to Get Spanked Sun July 10.

July 10: Race the Stoked to get Spanked MTB race on 35km of sweet relentless single track and logging road. BBQ and fun to follow. Expert 18+ racers will do the full 35km or 2 laps, all Sport 18+ racers will only do 1 lap or 17km. Anyone can ride in either category, challenge yourself, lets get thirsty and put a smile on your face! Race for $45, fees include your first post race beverage. 10am start, racer meeting 9:30 at the start area. The whole family can ride in this event! The U17 people can do a 17km loop, U15 rides a 10km loop, a 10:00 start. We have a Lil' Spankies race, for the 3 to 8 year old people, over 2km of single track, a 11 am start. No training wheels please in the Lil' Spankies race. U17 race costs $35, and the Lil' Spankies can race for $15, both fees include a t-shirt. BBQ, prizes, category prizes, BBQ and fun to follow.
Sign up: Go to zone4.ca to sign up, closes July 6th at the cheap price, $45. After July 6th price increases to $75. Cycling BC and Revelstoke Cycling Club members receive a $5 discount on race fees. Add a t-shirt to your registration, order on zone4 for only $20.
You can sign up July 10 at the race site from 7:30 am to 9 am with a late fee of $75, or fax in an entry form before July 7th and we will have your race package ready for pick up Sunday mourning.
Race locations: To get to the race, from Revelstoke follow the Trans Canada Hwy (Hwy#1) west, over the bridge, to the Hwy 23S turn off. Travel down Hwy 23S for about 7.5 kms to the Mount MacPherson Nordic Ski Trails parking lot.
Race Maps: U17 and main 17km loop, U15 10km loop.
Race kit pick up: At Skookum July 9, 10 am to 6 pm, and July 10 from 7:30 am to 8:30 am at the race site.
Accommodations: Several local businesses are offering special racer discounts for lodging, camping and meals. You must let the bussiness know you are with the Stoked to Get Spanked event to receive the discount.
