Welcome to the 2010 Salty Dog Enduro

It´s time again for the 9th annual Salty Dog 6-hour enduro here in Salmon Arm! Ride solo, or in a team of 2, for 6 hours and experience an awesome race course in a beautiful setting.
When: Sunday, May 16, 2010 - 10am (racer meeting 9:30am)
Where: South Canoe Trail System, Salmon Arm, BC. For how to get there see map of race location. For trail map of the race course see map of race course.
Who: Riders age 3 and up.
What going on again: Salty Pup 1-hour enduro on a level 1 km single track course, for ages 3+, no training wheels please, race fees include a T-shirt. Jr. 3-hour enduro for U15s on a 5km course, teams of 2 only. This is a stepping stone event to the big 6 hour enduro for people who are not ready to do the main race. Race fees include a T-shirt. The 6 hour enduro for everyone else. Enter as a team of 2 or do it solo. Team categories for men´s, women´s and mixed teams and solo categories for elite/sport racers.
Start time: 9:30 racer meeting at start/finish area, 10:00 Salty Dog starts, 10:30 Jr. Salty Dog starts, 11:00 Salty Pup starts
Race kit pick up: May 15 at Skookum Cycle, 141 Shuswap St., 10:00 am - 5:00 pm, and May 16 at the race site from 8:00 to 9:00 am.

New: Salty Dog 6 hour Enduro is excited to announce a great new partnership with BC Bike Race. This seven day mountain bike stage race has an Epic course and new for 2010 we are introducing The Challenge which is approximately half the distance of the Epic. The top Solo racers in this years Salty Dog event will be eligible to win a Solo Race Entry for the 201 BC Bike Race Epic or Challenge event taking place from June 26 to July 3, good luck to everyone. Salty Dog Accommodations: Several local businesses are offering special Salty Dog rates for lodging/camping, you must let the business know that you are a Salty Dog racer to receive any discounts. All accommodations have both hot tub and pools.
